River City Ransom
Japanese developer TechnÅs brought a few popular titles back to the NES in the 80s, and perhaps the most famous was the Double Dragon co-op brawler.
First released in Japan as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari in the spring of 1989, River City Ransom came to North America in 1990, followed by a European PAL release as Street Gangs in ’91.
River City Ransom then still had a small fan base, that of NES fans, and even then the game was developed on PC.
Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro
Spider-Man was really successful when it launched, this game became the gold standard for superhero action video games in 3D format after its release on PlayStation in 2000. The game has unique gameplay.
But after the resounding success of Spider-Man, people wonder why part 2 of the game released in 2001 called Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro did not have such success.
